Future Goals Foundation

Additionally to Future Goals Academy, we have started a foundation, namely the Future Goals Foundation, which will enable player’s from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to be sponsored and participated in relevant leagues, as well as receive the necessary coaching required to enable players to reach their full potential.

Aim

We aim to provide talented player s with opportunities to be scouted and awarded academic bursaries. We aim to expose players to a range of career opportunities.

Coaching

Selected players receive coaching from Netball South Africa Level 1 and 2 accredited coaches as well as mentorship and development programs

Tutoring

We would like to encourage our players to maintain good academic standings in order to allow them more opportunities.

Target market

Players from Soweto, Alexandra and Tembisa have been invited to attend trials for the teams. To date, 16 players have been selected

Budget and funding

What we need:

Coaching fee

Each player will receive weekly coaching sessions hosted by Future Goals Netball South Africa level 1 and level 2 accredited coaches. Requires 10 people to pledge R350 per month each

Food packs

Because our players will attend both tutoring and practices on the same day, we would like to provide breakfast, as many of these players may not have eaten before attending . Branflakes 1kg (feeds 12) Milk 2Kg (feeds 12) Fruit cups (feeds 12) Energy drink (feeds 12) Requires 10 people to pledge R170 each per month

Administrative fee

Office bearers and administrative marketing operations and accounting fees Requires 15 people to pledge R500 per month each or R3000 once off

Operational fees

Operations and accounting fees Requires 15 people to pledge R500 per month each or R3000 once off

Tutoring Fees

Each of the players will receive weekly tutoring sessions hosted by accredited and qualified tutors Requires 10 people to pledge R630 per month each

Uniform and kit

Match dress = R300 per player Practice kit= R200 per player Shoes = R420 per player =R920.00 per player x 13 players =R11 960.00 kit budget for 2023
