I’m a Chemical Engineering student at WITS University. I currently play and captain the WITS netball first team and was a member of the U21 SPAR baby protease from 2019- 2021. I played for the Golden Fireballs in the 2020 (where we were bronze medallists in the A division) and 2021 instalment of the Telkom Netball League (biggest netball semi-professional league in South Africa). Along with being a level 1 NSA accredited coach, I am also the coach’s manager and have the responsibility of overseeing the coaching staff at the academy. In the time that I have been coaching at the academy, I cannot describe the delight that comes from imparting knowledge to the young ladies- the future Proteas. Development is something I am passionate about, as a player who missed some of the key elements that formed the foundation of the sport. I want to help in the formation of that necessary foundation and so allowing these aspiring athletes to reach their full potential.
